Winter Pruning

We are deep into the winter pruning of our fruit trees here at Parsons. The Similkameen winter was a long one, but the trees are in great shape and the fist signs of spring are starting to show. Won’t be long now until we see some blossoms on the apricot trees, and a few months after that for the first pick of the season.

Quentin has been busy making trips into Vancouver to prepare for the upcoming season. It’s a quieter time on the orchard and as the sun sets later and the snows melt, we’ll be gearing up for spring in no time.
